Ok so as the title suggests, I’m here to give you an internal perspective from being on the top of the bottom. Let me explain….Every industry, every culture, every society, has a hierarchy system. Except, the music industry. Or perhaps the entertainment industry as a whole. Think about it. Where else could an adolescent singer share a stage with decades of premium sage talent. That being said, I am grateful for being a part. For the simple fact that me, a regular dude guitar player from Long Island, can actually stand on the same stage as Stevie Wonder and play my heart out. Jam in the studio with Sting, or hang out with Quincy Jones at the Montreux Jazz Festival. I consider myself to be at the top of my game so to speak, and with due cause. I have practiced and prepared my whole life to be a professional musician. However, in the company of the aforementioned talent, I consider myself to be at the bottom.
It is with sheer gratitude that I am writing this. With countless experiences such as the previous throughout my career, I am living proof that dreams can be fulfilled. My father taught me to follow my passion of playing guitar and furthermore, learn to make my own path in life. Candidly, it hasn’t been easy and it will continue to have it’s proven obstacles. However, through all of it’s peaks and valleys, it is still the most gratifying experience to do what I truly love and for that I am eternally grateful. In closing, it is with great pleasure and excitement that the maiden voyage of my new blog is brought to you from the Top of the Bottom rung!

Fantastic perspective!
